Puma is a shoe company established in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Founded by a pair of bothers, the Puma brand split off from the original Adidas brand after World War II where the Dassler brothers had a falling out. Since then, the Puma and Adidas brand have fostered a fierce rivalry, even causing controversy over a shoe tying event at the start of the 1970 FIFA World Cup.
Today, Puma is a total fashion brand, producing shoes, shirts, hats, jackets and more. They spread their brand through endorsements by sports stars such as Usain Bolt, Rickie Fowler, and hip hop artist Meek Mill.
